Sushil Tater is the founding attorney of IPCogito Legal and brings over a decade of focused practice in intellectual property law. Since 2013, he has handled in excess of 2,500 trademark matters — spanning filing and prosecution, examination replies, opposition proceedings, evidence stages, and rectification petitions — before all five offices of the Trade Marks Registry across India.

His litigation practice extends from the Trade Marks Registry through Appellate Tribunals and Courts, where he has represented clients in trademark disputes, passing-off actions, and IP enforcement proceedings. His registry-level experience encompasses direct appearances at hearings, cross-examination of witnesses, and the conduct of inter partes proceedings under the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
